These are honestly one of the easiest sweet treats you can make.
What you’ll need:
- Semi sweet chocolate mini chips (I use enjoy life brand because they are dairy, nut and soy free)
- Date paste (if you want the date filled cup)
- Coconut manna, natural cane sugar (if you want the coconut swirl cup)
- Peanut butter -try to get it at its purest form, I make mine at home- (if you want the peanut butter cup)
- A muffin/cupcake sheet and paper bake cups so they don’t stick
- Melt about a cup of your chocolate chips in a microwave or on the stove until it is creamy liquid consistency
- Once your chocolate is melted, start putting a layer of chocolate (not too much) in the paper bake cups that are in the cupcake sheet.
- even the first layer of chocolate ( I like to tap my sheet onto the table to easily even it out)
- Put your choice of filling onto your first chocolate layer, carefully..so it won’t sink to the bottom.
- Once you’ve put in your filling of choice, pour some chocolate on top (not too thick) just enough to cover your filling.
- Note** sprinkle sugar on the coconut manna cup for taste, the chocolate manna cup will turn into a swirl due to the consistency of the filling… so just evenly spread chocolate on the top making a clockwise motion.
- Pop into the fridge for 30 minutes … and your done!!
